Job summary

OnTrac is hiring seasonal workers in Bakersfield, CA for early morning shifts (4:30 AM–9:00 AM), Monday through Friday. The position offers $17.90 per hour with weekly pay and overtime eligibility. The seasonal assignment runs from 10/27/2026 to 01/01/2027, with opportunities for additional seasonal earnings.

Responsibilities

• Unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing 30–50 pounds independently throughout the shift.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during the shift.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Work in hot or cold environments and keep the workspace organized and ready for action.

Pay: $17.90/hr WEEKLY Pay

This role is eligible for overtime pay consistent with applicable law.

Shifts: 4:30AM - 9AM

• Monday - Friday

Hours may vary based on business needs. “End of Sort” is defined as the completion of all required sort work for the day and clean-up activities, as directed by site management.

THE JOB: YOUR PAID WORKOUT

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently throughout your shift
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during your scheduled shift
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages
• Work in hot or cold environments as temperature control capabilities may be limited in the warehouse environment
• Keep your workspace organized and ready for action
• Help packages reach their next destination safely and on time

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Be dependable and available for your scheduled shift, including weekends or holidays when needed
• Be able to meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law
• Ability to perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
• Repeatedly lift packages as described above
• Stand, walk, bend, lift, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Work in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• No previous warehouse experience required. We’ll provide the training you need to succeed.
