Job summary

OnTrac in Petaluma is seeking a Seasonal Package Handler to support holiday logistics. This active warehouse role involves unloading, sorting, and moving packages as part of a team, with safety and efficiency as priorities.

The position runs during the holiday season from 10/27/2026 to 1/1/2027, with overtime opportunities and weekly pay. Shifts are early morning, 4:15am–9:00am, and availability for weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep your work area organized and ready for action.
• Work as part of a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.

Job description

Location: 2249 SMcDowellBlvd, Petaluma, CA 94954

Pay: $19.84/hour WEEKLY Pay

This role is eligible for overtime pay consistent with applicable law.

Shift: (2 Options Available) 4:15am - 9:00am

• Monday - Friday
• Monday - Sunday

(7 day availability required, you will be scheduled 5 working days)

Hours may vary based on business needs. "End of Sort" is defined as the completion of all required sort work for the day and clean-up activities, as directed by site management.

Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse role. With or without reasonable accommodation, you must be able to:

• Repeatedly lift packages as described above
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during your scheduled shift
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull and squat while handling packages
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout your shift
• Work in hot or cold environments, as temperature control capabilities may be limited in the warehouse environment

Premium Holiday Pay

• Premium pay for hours worked on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
