Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Odessa, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our branch by loading and unloading materials, operating a forklift and an overhead crane, and handling construction tools.

You will complete orders safely, assist customers and coworkers, manage inventory updates in the ERP system, keep a clean work area, and comply with safety rules. Must be 18+, HS diploma or GED, and able to obtain forklift/crane certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift and overhead crane.

Responsibilities

• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage.
• Assist co-workers and customers.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.

JOB DETAIL

Base pay starts at $18.25 per hour

Shift: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM - Monday - Friday (with potential overtime)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Associates perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools.

• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage
• Assist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment
