Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Abilene, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support loading, unloading, and inventory flow. You will operate a forklift and overhead crane, move materials, and help customers and co-workers while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds; certification to operate forklift and crane may be required. This is a full-time role with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and products to support the branch location.

• Inspect materials, products, machinery, and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management and daily ERP updates.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Move inventory within and between workstations.
• Follow safety requirements and use PPE.

Base pay starts at $19.00 per hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage. Assist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
