Job summary

Gemaire Distributors is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our HVAC distribution operations in Georgia. You will handle picking, verifying, loading and unloading of products, and maintain inventory control using warehouse equipment.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer service for external clients. Operate forklift and perform routine maintenance while keeping the warehouse clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products daily.
• Receive, inspect, and stock merchandise.
• Verify items received against orders for accuracy.
• Pick and prepare orders for shipment.
• Maintain daily truck and forklift maintenance checklists.
• Use and maintain OF device as required.
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
• Read orders and shipping documents to move, gather, or ship items.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Keep grounds and warehouse neat, orderly and safe.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily loading and unloading of products.
• Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
• Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
• Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance.
• Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
• Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months Warehouse experience including forklift operation.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday. This position may require working extra hours on occasion.
