Job summary

Watsco is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Associate in Jacksonville, FL to manage inventory and daily delivery of HVAC freight and materials. You will load/unload, stock merchandise, verify orders, and prepare shipments while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires 21+ and a focus on safety, with PPE usage, weekly schedule Monday–Friday and occasional Saturdays, and an emphasis on accuracy and warehouse upkeep.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of verifiable experience driving a 16’ box truck or stake bed.
• Ability to multi-task and meet daily deadlines.
• Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics.
• Effective communication with customers and superior service.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the Company.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Job description

• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.

• Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
• Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• CDL Class B license preferred (except when required in certain states)
• 6 months of Warehouse experience including forklift operation.
• Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday. This position may require working extra hours on occasion.
