Job summary

Watsco in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, including picking and verifying orders, loading and unloading of products, and inventory control using state-of-the-art warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting and stocking merchandise, ensuring items match orders, maintaining a clean, safe environment, and providing excellent service to internal and external customers. Prior forklift experience is preferred.

Job description

• Daily loading and unloading of products.
• Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.

• Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance.
• Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
• Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months Warehouse experience including forklift operation.
• Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday. This position may require working extra hours on occasion.
