Job summary

Gemaire Distributors in Arden, NC is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a full-time role. You will perform daily loading and unloading, pick and pack orders, stock and inspect merchandise, and maintain inventory accuracy with forklift operations.

You will ensure safety, cleanliness, and customer service excellence while supporting the HVAC distribution team. Prior warehouse experience and ability to lift 50 pounds may be preferred; bilingual Spanish a plus.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily loading and unloading of products.
• Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
• Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
• Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance.
• Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
• Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday. This position may require working extra hours on occasion.
