Job summary

Carjon Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc. is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to support our HVAC operation in Smithfield, RI. The role focuses on preparing equipment, organizing jobs, receiving shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory to keep technicians supplied for installations and service calls.

This is a full-time, on-site position with a 7:00 AM start and a Monday–Friday schedule. Salary ranges from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour plus performance bonus opportunities,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain it.
• Ability to organize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality including 7:00 AM start.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical work all day.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment, tools, and materials for scheduled installation projects.
• Organize upcoming jobs to ensure crews have what they need each morning.
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist with inventory control.
• Keep warehouse, storage areas, and yard clean, safe, and organized.
• Deliver parts, materials, and paperwork to technicians and job sites as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles.
• Support light fabrication and other warehouse projects as assigned.
• Update inventory information using company software.
• Help maintain an efficient warehouse operation supporting service and installation teams.

Skills

Compensation & Benefits
