Job summary

Lansing Building Products LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our busy warehouse in Portland, ME. You will greet customers, pick tickets, load and unload trucks, and use RF scanners to track materials through our TWL system.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and physical stamina to lift items up to 70 pounds. Forklift experience is a plus, with opportunities for growth and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling or warehouse work is preferred.
• High energy and integrity are important.
• Experience in building products and warehouse roles is strongly desired.
• Ability to work in a team or with customers.
• Willingness to lift 70+ lbs and operate a forklift is a plus.
• Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to new processes.

• Utilize handheld RF scanners to move, track, and manage products through our Warehouse Management System (TWL)
• Verify accuracy of orders picked and shipments received
• Lift and move boxes of building materials weighing up to 70 pounds
• Keep warehouse clean and orderly

Qualifications:

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred)
• High integrity and high energy
• Experience in building products as well as previous warehouse experience is strongly desired
• Ability to work in a team and/or one-on-one with our customers
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes and building materials weighing as much as 70+ lbs
• Experience with a forklift is a plus
• Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business

A Warehouse Associate's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- Monday through Friday, generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)
