Job summary

Lansing Building Products is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Massachusetts. You will greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload trucks, ensuring accurate, timely movement of materials from our warehouse to customers and job sites.

Responsibilities include using handheld RF scanners, verifying orders, and safely lifting building materials up to 70 pounds. A team-focused, energetic mindset helps you succeed in a fast-paced environment with occasional early start times.

Qualifications

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred).
• High energy and integrity.
• Experience with building products and warehouse operations is strongly desired.
• Ability to work in a team and with our customers.
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes and building materials weighing up to 70+ lbs.
• Experience with a forklift is a plus.
• Ability to work under deadlines and to adapt to new processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload customer and company trucks.
• Utilize handheld RF scanners to move, track, and manage products through our Warehouse Management System (TWL).
• Verify accuracy of orders picked and shipments received.
• Lift and move boxes of building materials weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Keep warehouse clean and orderly.

Qualifications:

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred)

• Experience in building products as well as previous warehouse experience is strongly desired
• Ability to work in a team and/or one-on-one with our customers
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes and building materials weighing as much as 70+ lbs
• Experience with a forklift is a plus
• Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business

A Warehouse Associate's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- Monday through Friday, generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)
