Job summary

Alamo Group is seeking a Warehouse Worker in Florida to load, unload, and move materials around the facility while maintaining inventory accuracy. You will support production by distributing items per work orders and recording receipts in the MRD system.

The role involves forklift or manual material handling, weekly cycle counts, and continuous improvement of reorder points. Candidates should work closely with production to ensure timely processing of non-conforming materials.

Responsibilities

• Fills work orders and distributes items to production workers
• Utilizes forklift or manually unloads materials to/from pallets, racks, and shelves
• Receives materials into the inventory management system and places them at the proper location
• Assists with maintaining inventory accuracy and conducts weekly MRD audits for cycle counts
• Works on projects to improve visual reorder points for MRD materials
• Updates expedite communications boards throughout the day as business is conducted
• Collaborates with production staff to ensure non-conforming materials are identified and processed in a timely manner

Job description

Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Worker will perform a combination of tasks to load, unload, and move material and parts in and around the manufacturing facility. You will also be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Fills work orders, requests for materials or other stock items distributing items to production workers
• Utilizes forklift or manually unloads materials to/from pallets, racks, and shelves delivered to the BU
• Receives materials into the inventory management system, placing at the proper location within the production system
• Assistswith maintaining inventory accuracy and monthly cycle counts by conducting weekly audits of the MRD system
• Works on projects to continuously improve visual re-order points for MRD materials
• Updates the expedite communications boards throughout the day as business is conducted
• Responsible for working closely with production staff toensure non-conforming materials are identified and are accurately processed in a timely manner
