Job summary

Alamo Group in Lake Wales, FL is seeking a Warehouse Worker under direct supervision to load, unload, and move material in the manufacturing facility and maintain inventory accuracy. This role involves fulfilling work orders, operating forklifts, receiving materials, and supporting cycle counts to ensure data integrity.

You will collaborate with production staff to identify non-conforming materials, update MRD records, and help continuously improve reorder points.

Responsibilities

• Fills work orders, requests for materials or other stock items distributing items to production workers
• Utilizes forklift or manually unloads materials to/from pallets, racks, and shelves delivered to the BU
• Receives materials into the inventory management system, placing at the proper location within the production system
• Assists with maintaining inventory accuracy and monthly cycle counts by conducting weekly audits of the MRD system
• Works on projects to continuously improve visual re-order points for MRD materials
• Updates the expedite communications boards throughout the day as business is conducted
• Responsible for working closely with production staff to ensure non-conforming materials are identified and are accurately processed in a timely manner
