Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of warehouse tasks, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping and receiving. This role requires a strong understanding of warehousing principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to operate material handling equipment. The Warehouse Associate is expected to contribute to a safe and efficient warehouse environment, utilizing skills in order picking, packaging and labeling, and forklift operation.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and put away incoming shipments, demonstrating proficiency in shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, safely and effectively.
  • Perform inventory management tasks, including cycle counting and stock rotation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including housekeeping duties.
  • Load and unload trucks, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Assist with palletizing and sorting of materials.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Utilize computer systems for inventory tracking and order processing.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with delivery personnel or customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of warehousing principles and practices.
  • General knowledge of inventory management techniques.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Thorough knowledge of order picking and packaging procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in the English language.
  • Computer literacy for data entry and inventory tracking.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with forklift truck operation.
  • Familiarity with merchandising principles.
  • Experience with warehouse operations.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience with machinery operation.
