Job Summary

A growing manufacturing and operations team is seeking a dependable Material Handler for a direct hire opportunity in Kent, WA. This role is ideal for someone with warehouse, production, inventory, shipping, or receiving experience who enjoys hands‑on work and takes pride in keeping materials organized, accurate, and moving efficiently. As a Material Handler, you will support daily warehouse and production operations by receiving materials, preparing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and helping ensure the facility stays clean, safe, and productive. Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, organize, and store incoming materials and shipments.
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare materials for outgoing orders and internal production needs.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse or facility using appropriate equipment and safe handling practices.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, verify quantities, and assist with cycle counts.
• Load and unload shipments while checking materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $23 to $27 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Receive, organize, and distribute materials throughout the facility.
• Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment or production use.
• Support inventory accuracy through recordkeeping, cycle counts, and quantity verification.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse or production environment.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant warehouse, material handling, production, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or move for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify material discrepancies or damage.
• Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and a safety-conscious mindset.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to work with inventory records or warehouse systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience or forklift certification.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Previous experience supporting warehouse, shipping, receiving, or production teams in a manufacturing environment.
