Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials Services in Greenville, SC is seeking a warehouse associate to perform storage and shipping tasks and support overall operations.

Responsibilities include sorting, stacking, inspecting, moving stock with cranes and forklifts, assisting with orders and paperwork, and maintaining a safe, clean work area while following Lean and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Safety-minded with ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operation.
• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move/deliver stock
• Assist machine operators with a variety of functions as required to support the operation.
• Perform general clean‑up activities.
• Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to Supervisor or Lead immediately.
• Train others when required.
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.
