Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a warehouse team in its fast-paced operations. You will mentor, motivate, and develop hourly associates, ensuring safety and quality while driving performance and training to become an exceptional people leader.

You will work on-site at fulfillment centers, with shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays; relocation benefits are offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required before first day.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Enrolled in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours.
• Work night/weekend/holiday shifts as needed.
• Oversee deliveries and sort packages using pallet jacks.
• Lead shift huddles and review performance data.
