Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager for on-site roles in its fulfillment network. This entry-level, full-time position focuses on engaging, leading and developing a team of hourly associates within a fast-paced warehouse setting. You will mentor your team to meet goals and maintain safety, quality, attendance and performance.

Extensive training is provided to develop you into an effective people leader. Starting pay is posted for multiple MO locations at $70,000 annually, with benefits including

Qualifications

• Clear communication skills required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours.
• Work shifts including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages, operate PIT equipment as applicable.
• Adapt to varying noise levels in the warehouse environment.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, bending and reaching.
• Climb and descend stairs when applicable.
