Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities
- Conducting physical inventory of garments as requested.
- Demonstrating a willingness and ability to deliver quality guest service to external and internal guests that perpetuates Hollywood Casino’s commitment toward quality guest service.
- Following all safety rules.
- Adhering to departmental quality standards.
- Maintaining compliance with the Ohio Gaming Board Rules, Standards, and the Company’s System of internal Controls and Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements.
- Operating garment conveyor system.
- Retrieving soiled laundry from bins on a daily basis.
- Sorting and preparing garments for pickup from laundry and dry‑cleaning facilities.
- Providing counter service to cast members.
- Scanning, sorting, and putting away clean laundry.
- Operating U‑Pick‑it system, bar code reader, heat sealer, steamer, and iron.
- Preparing chef hats and aprons for cast members' pickup.
- Reprint ID tags if faded or require replacement.
- Cancelling terminated cast members out of computer system, pulling respective garments and placing garments back into inventory stock.
- Processing paperwork for sale of slip‑resistant shoes and uniforms.
- Inputting loaner items to cast members into computer system.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to read, comprehend and interpret written and/or oral instructions.
- Must be able to communicate with internal and/or external guests.
- Performing basic mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Calculating figures and amounts and apply to practical situations using fractions, percentages, and problem solving.
- Qualified to be licensed by the Ohio Gaming Board.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
- The work area is indoors and the temperature is changing.
- May be exposed to odors, dusts, mechanical parts, electrical shock, moving objects, low lights, cramped quarters and humidity.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. May on occasion be required to work in a loud environment.
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 50 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, turn/twist, and bend at waist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
- Ability to climb stairs and to stand, walk, sit, reach, handle, throw, feel and exercise eye‑hand coordination.
- Able to speak, hear, see near, far, and in color.
- Must have depth perception and peripheral vision.
