Swain Resort is seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team for seasonal coverage. You will prepare, cook, and plate items quickly and according to resort standards, ensuring quality and consistency across all dishes.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean, safe workstations, assisting with prep and restocking, and communicating with servers to ensure smooth service during high-volume periods and events. Must be 18+, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and available evenings and weekends.

Formación

• Prior line cook or kitchen experience preferred; willing to train motivated candidates.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be 18+ years old and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets resort quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the kitchen and workstations.
• Assist with prep work, restocking, and rotating ingredients as needed.
• Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service.
• Follow all food safety and handling procedures, including temperature checks and proper storage.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Support the team during high-volume periods and special events.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as directed by the manager.

Pay Rate Range: $16.50 – $19.50
