Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to provide independent planning and delivery of professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.

The RN will care for an assigned group of patients, in line with Northside Hospital's philosophy and Georgia Nurse Practice Act, showing collaboration, communication, coordination and empowerment in daily practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN in Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Manage patient care for an assigned group of patients in alignment with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrate collaboration, communication, coordination, integration and empowerment in daily practice.

REQUIRED

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

1. BSN degree
2. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
3. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
