Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.

The role focuses on coordinating patient care for an assigned group of patients while upholding the hospital's values of collaboration, communication, and empowerment. Will require GA RN licensure and BLS, with BSN preferred and additional life-support certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in Georgia in good standing.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Manages patient care for assigned group of patients following Northside Hospital philosophy and policies.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

• BSN degree
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
