Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care for patients under physician orders in Georgia. The RN adheres to established guidelines and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act while collaborating with the care team to ensure patient-centric outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold GA RN licensure in good standing and BLS; BSN and additional life-support credentials are preferred, with a focus on teamwork, safety, and compassionate care

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in Georgia in good standing.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred: BSN, additional life support credentials (ACLS/PALS/NRP) or clinical certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act guidelines.
• Manages care for a group of patients in alignment with Northside Hospital policies and values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration and empowerment.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Additionally, the practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

• BSN degree
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
