Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The nurse independently plans and delivers care for an assigned patient group, guided by Northside Hospital's philosophy and policies.

Key requirements include an RN license in Georgia with good standing and BLS certification. A BSN is preferred, along with optional ACLS/PALS/NRP or other clinical certifications,

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred: BSN degree.
• Preferred: ACLS, PALS, NRP or other clinical life support certifications.
• Color vision acuity may be required for specific units.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act guidelines.
• Manages patient care for an assigned group of patients and upholds Northside Hospital values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration and empowerment.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Additionally, the practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Qualifications

REQUIRED
