Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients according to physician orders and state guidelines. This role emphasizes collaboration, communication, and adherence to hospital policies.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited nursing program with GA RN licensure in good standing and BLS. BSN and advanced life support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) are preferred for specialty units.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Manage patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with Northside Hospital policies.
• Collaborate with care teams and follow established guidelines to ensure quality outcomes.

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. REQUIRED

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

1. BSN degree
2. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
3. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
