Morrison Living is hiring immediately for a full-time WAITER/WAITRESS position.

• Location: Kingsbridge - 3055 Briarcliff Road Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30329. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, including weekends and holidays; hours may vary. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous experience in a senior living facility is preferred but not required.
• Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room; take food and beverages efficiently, following established steps of service.
2. Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards. Follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests.
3. Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients. Advise guests on food and drink pairings when requested; accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences. Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed.
4. Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special requests are accommodated.
5. Exhibit excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others. Remain flexible and patient when interacting with guests and staff.
6. Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
7. Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
8. Maintain high sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared.
9. Address complaints or issues promptly; relay relevant information or complaints to supervisor.
10. Ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service; keep the area clean and meet sanitation standards.
11. Operate various equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
12. Collaborate with staff of other departments during special events and functions.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
