• We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time WAITER/WAITRESS positions.

Job Summary

Summary: Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promptly and warmly greet guests; take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards; assist with additional needs or requests.
• Demonstrate understanding of menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink combinations; accommodate requests and note preferences; understand specialized diets and allergens as needed.
• Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests are accommodated.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills; remain flexible and patient with guests and staff.
• Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
• Handle sensitive and confidential personal or medical information appropriately.
• Address complaints or issues promptly; relay relevant information to supervisors.
• Ensure the dining area is properly set up before and after service; keep the area clean and meet sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
• Collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
