Career Consulting Partners in Downtown Los Angeles seeks an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to lead wage & hour class actions and PAGA matters. You will manage a meaningful caseload from pre-filing through resolution in state and federal court, working closely with firm leadership.

This role offers strong advancement as the firm grows, with base salary $150k–$250k depending on experience; additional compensation on settled cases and commission opportunities for 4+ years' experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of wage & hour class action litigation experience.
• Active member in good standing of the California State Bar.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong writing, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Plaintiff-side experience preferred but open to defense candidates.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of wage & hour class actions and PAGA matters from pre-filing to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions, including class certification briefing.
• Take and defend depositions and manage written discovery.
• Prepare for and attend mediations, and negotiate settlements.
• Oversee settlement approval process and related filings.
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel, keeping cases moving on schedule.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on case strategy.
