Job summary

5N Plus Inc. is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our St. George, Utah facility, focusing on semiconductor wafer polishing.

This full-time, salaried role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge materials in a highly technical environment and contribute to space, medical, and defense applications. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years in semiconductor processing, a strong track record in process optimization, and expertise in wafer polishing, SPC, and FMEA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• 5+ years in semiconductor processing with wafer polishing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize processes and reduce variation.
• Strong skills in SPC and data analysis; proficiency with FMEA.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and leadership abilities; able to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead process optimization initiatives for wafer polishing operations.
• Develop and implement solutions to reduce variation and manufacturing costs.
• Design and validate new processes and equipment configurations.
• Monitor critical process parameters (temperature, pressure, gas flow).
• Lead continuous improvement projects and root-cause analysis.
• Manage process documentation and technical records; mentor team members.
