Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a hands-on Wafer Process Technician to support manufacturing of compound semiconductor devices in a cleanroom environment. You will operate and maintain equipment such as track coaters and PECVD, handle wafers and chemicals, and ensure process integrity across key production steps.

Qualifications

• Associate degree/technical diploma or higher in a science or engineering-related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, semiconductor experience preferred.
• Basic computer and office skills.
• Must wear cleanroom suit; PPE required for chemical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to conduct manufacturing activities of compound semiconductor wafers in cleanroom conditions.
• Operate and maintain fabrication equipment (track coater, PECVD, grinder, AFM, SEM, WI, confocal microscope, robot).
• Work with wet benches or automatic wet tanks; handle and dispose of chemicals properly.
• Support routine PM and equipment checks.
• Identify deviations, document, report, and assist investigations.
• Support new product introduction and continuous improvement; meet hazardous materials and cleanroom quality requirements.
