onsemi is seeking a Wafer Fab Operator to join the Manufacturing Operations Team. The role involves loading wafers into production equipment, verifying specs, monitoring equipment and process pace, and identifying out-of-adjustment conditions.

The position operates on a 12-hour compressed night shift, with a sign-on bonus of $1,500 subject to taxes and payroll deductions. A strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and cleanroom protocol is required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in semiconductor environment preferred.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom and wear required PPE.
• Must be able to perform 12-hour compressed night shifts.

Mansioni

• Set up and operate tools to process wafers through manufacturing steps.
• Use analytic skills to determine optimal processing strategies and changeovers.
• Make minor corrections to process and equipment; escalate as needed.
• Perform SPC-based process diagnosis and interpretation.
• Interface with computer systems to complete duties per schedule.
• Collaborate with teammates and other departments to meet daily goals.
• Follow safety and conduct requirements; maintain cleanroom discipline.
• Carry wafer pods (about 15 pounds) and climb stairs as needed.
