Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Wafer Fab Operator to join the Manufacturing Operations Team. The role loads wafers into production equipment, verifies product specs against equipment settings, and monitors equipment operation and process pace to ensure productivity and quality.

The position includes a Night 1 shift (12 hours) and a $1,500 sign-on bonus. Responsibilities include setup and operation of tools, process improvements, SPC diagnostics, and collaboration with internal customers to maximize factory

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a 12-hour compressed shift in a clean room environment.
• Hard-working, flexible team player with superior attention to detail and computer knowledge.
• The ability to multitask and manage a large volume of activity and demands.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate tools to process wafers through the manufacturing stages.
• Use analytic and deductive skills to determine best processing strategies, including when to perform tool changeovers.
• Make minor corrections to process and equipment and recognize when technician or engineer involvement is needed; suggest productivity improvements.
• Perform SPC-based diagnostics and interpretation using computer systems.
• Follow documented specifications and production schedules; interface with computer systems to complete duties.
• Prioritize daily tasks with teammates and other departments to meet team goals.
• Follow safety and conduct requirements.
