onsemi is seeking a Wafer Fab Operator to join the Manufacturing Operations Team. The role entails loading wafers, verifying specs, monitoring equipment and productivity, and recognizing when adjustments are needed. The night shift runs 6:30 PM–7:00 AM with a 15% differential.

Sign-on bonus of $1,500 is offered, with payout in four quarterly installments. High school diploma or GED required; semiconductor experience preferred but not required.

Formación

• Must be able to work a 12-hour compressed shift in a cleanroom environment.
• Hard-working, flexible team player with superior attention to detail and computer knowledge.
• The ability to multitask and manage a large volume of activity and demands.
• Wearing cleanroom garments is necessary to protect product, including bunny suit, gloves, safety glasses, cleanroom shoes, and face coverings.
• The ability to carry a 15-pound wafer pod throughout the full shift.
• Frequent climbing of 4–5 stairs while carrying a wafer pod throughout the full shift.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for setting up and operating tools to process wafers through the applicable stage in the manufacturing process.
• Use analytic and deductive skills to determine the best strategies for processing wafers, including tool changeovers and communication with internal customers.
• Make minor corrections to process and equipment; suggest improvements to productivity and communicate when a technician or engineer is needed.
• Perform SPC-based diagnosis and interpretation using computer systems to complete job duties.
• Execute production processes per documented specifications and production schedules; interface with computer systems as needed.
• Collaborate with teammates and other departments to prioritize daily tasks impacting team goals.
• Follow and stay up to date on safety and conduct requirements.
• Meet physical requirements listed, including carrying wafers and climbing stairs as described.
