Ernst & Young LLP is seeking a WAF Operations Solution Engineer to implement and manage Web Application Firewall solutions, protecting client applications from cyber threats. You will work with cybersecurity professionals to establish effective security measures and safeguard web applications.

You will configure WAFs (Cloudflare, Imperva), provide ongoing coverage, monitor traffic, respond to incidents, and develop policies using Terraform.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in web application security operations with focus on WAF management.
• Hands-on experience with WAF solutions such as Cloudflare and Imperva.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation is preferred.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing systems is beneficial.
• Certifications such as CISSP or Security+ are a plus.

• Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies to enhance the organization’s security posture.
• Utilize Cloudflare and Imperva WAFs for implementation and management; leverage Terraform for IaC.
