Ernst & Young is seeking a WAF Operations Solution Engineer to configure and maintain web application firewalls, ensuring optimal security for client applications. You will monitor traffic, analyze security events, and respond to incidents while collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen overall security posture.

The role emphasizes hands-on WAF management using Cloudflare and Imperva, with IaC automation via Terraform, and mentoring junior engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in web application security operations focusing on WAF management.
• Hands-on experience with WAF solutions such as Cloudflare and Imperva is required.
• Proficiency in using Terraform for automation is preferred.
• Strong understanding of web app security principles and ITIL processes.
