Job summary

EY seeks an experienced WAF & Internet Ingress and Edge Manager to lead operational service delivery for enterprise application protection, load balancing, ingress, traffic management, and edge connectivity services.

The role oversees performance, resilience, customer engagement, risk management, onboarding governance, incident escalation, and platform lifecycle. Collaboration spans application, cloud, networking, firewall, security, vendor, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Eng, or Cybersecurity, or equivalent preferred.
• 8+ years in WAF, application delivery, cloud networking, or related operations.
• 3+ years leading technical teams, service delivery, or platform management.
• Experience with WAF policies, CDN, bot/DDoS controls, DNS, SSL/TLS, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong customer engagement, leadership, communication, risk management, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operational delivery for WAF and Internet Ingress & Edge services.
• Establish service priorities, operating rhythms, ownership boundaries, escalation paths, and performance expectations.
• Maintain alignment between WAF protection, application delivery, ingress, DNS, certificates, load balancing, and edge security operations.
• Represent the service tower in customer reviews, governance forums, architecture discussions, and operational planning activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop WAF and Internet Ingress & Edge engineers across senior and staff levels.
