Job summary

EY seeks an experienced WAF & Internet Ingress and Edge Manager to lead operational service delivery for enterprise application protection, load balancing, ingress, traffic management, and edge connectivity services.

The role is accountable for service performance, resilience, team effectiveness, customer engagement, risk management, and platform lifecycle improvements, working across multiple disciplines to maintain secure, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in WAF, application delivery, cloud networking, or related fields.
• 3+ years leading technical teams and service delivery.
• Experience with incident, change, problem, and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of AWS ALB/NLB, AVI, Azure ingress, DNS, SSL/TLS certs, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong customer engagement and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operational delivery for WAF, ingress, and edge services.
• Define priorities, rhythms, ownership boundaries, escalation paths, and performance expectations.
• Ensure alignment between WAF, application delivery, DNS, certificates, load balancing, and edge security.
• Lead, coach, and develop WAF and Internet Ingress engineers.
• Manage staffing, on-call rotations, and succession planning.
• Own service metrics, SLA/KPI, reporting, and improvement actions.
• Coordinate incident response and governance across teams.
• Drive automation adoption and IaC through platform lifecycle.
