Job summary

A leading staffing agency in New York is seeking a motivated individual for a critical role in Global Markets, supporting the Front office FICC Mortgages business. This long-term contract position requires 3 days onsite per week. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of FI Derivatives Bonds, MTGE Loans, and possess strong application support and problem diagnosis skills. H1B Transfer candidates, Green Card holders, EAD, and US Citizens are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with front-office FICC mortgage products and related risk/valuation concepts.
• Knowledge of FI derivatives and mortgage-backed securities market dynamics.
• Ability to work with application developers and offshore teams to diagnose and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Support Front office FICC Mortgages business by collaborating with teams.
• Jump in to investigate issues and resolve problems effectively.
• Manage user query mailbox and respond in a timely manner.
• Resolve feed support issues for Autosys and Python batches.
• Monitor critical trading system environments using ITRS.
• Provide timely and accurate user notifications for incidents.

Responsibilities include:

• This is a critical Global Markets role in supporting Front office FICC Mortgages business, requiring a motivated and flexible individual to work in close collaboration with the Application Developers, peer Support Leads, Application Managers, Offshore teams and Infrastructure Support.
• knowledge of FI Derivatives Bonds, MTGE Loans, ITRS Geneos, Splunk, Ansible, Dynatrace, FIX Connectivity
• Application support and problem diagnosis skills - ability to jump in and investigate issues, resolve problems, and communicate status
• Manage user query mailbox effectively, understand the scope of team’s work and ensure timely and appropriate response is provided for all user queries.
• Respond to and resolve feed support issues for Autosys and Python based batches
• Manage alerts and monitoring of critical trading system environments using ITRS.
• Incident management - provide timely and accurate user notifications as well as management escalations when needed.
