BRAINS WORKGROUP, INC. in New York City seeks an Equities FO Trade Support Analyst to provide direct front office technology support to traders and related teams on the trading floor.

You will monitor platforms, diagnose real-time issues, translate requirements into specifications, and help improve runbooks and documentation in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. 3+ years of equities front-office experience and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting front office trading applications in Equities.
• Knowledge of FIX, OMS platforms, Bloomberg IOIs and related workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Regulatory/compliance driven inquiries experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

Equities Front Office Trade Support Analyst

Our client, a major bank in New York City, is looking for Equities FO Trade Support Specialist

This on-site role, 5 days in the office.

6 months initial contract with possible extensions or option to hire.

Rate: $95-105 on W2, possible C2C as well.

Job Description:

• Provide direct front office technology support to Equities traders, middle office users, and Compliance teams on the trading floor
• Monitor trading platforms to ensure system stability and availability
• Diagnose and resolve real time trading issues, including detailed investigation of compliance related inquiries
• Communicate major incidents, impacts, and resolution status clearly to key stakeholders and senior management
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from traders, ensuring proper tracking, prioritization, and transparency
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for vendor and internal development teams to deliver enhancements
• Share end to end business workflows with Support and QA teams to strengthen regression testing and operational readiness
• Maintain and continuously improve the knowledge base, support runbooks, scripts, and technical documentation

Qualifications:

• Over 3 years of experience supporting mission critical front office trading applications within the Equities space, in one or more of the following: Cash, U.S. Market Making, ETFs, Algo Trading, Program Trading, Preferred Stock, or Convertible Bonds
• Strong understanding of high touch trading workflows (life cycle of an equities order) including order routing via FIX protocol, OMS platforms, Bloomberg IOIs and Advertisements, and Middle Office allocations via CTM
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical issues to non technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Self motivated and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize and execute effectively in a fast paced, high pressure trading environment

Nice to have but not required:

• Proven experience handling regulatory and compliance driven requests and inquiries, including Reg NMS, Reg SHO, CAT, ACT, ORF, and TRACE
• Experience with Tidal, CTRL-M, or other scheduler applications
• Experience with JIRA for issue tracking, Confluence for knowledge sharing and runbook creation, Excel for operational analysis and reporting, Tidal, CTRL-M, or other scheduler applications
• Proficient in SQL
• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across front office, middle office, and control functions
• Experience with scripting and automation tools is a plus
