Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a UDS Video Teleconferencing Operations Center Technician to provide Tier I–III support for VTC platforms. Responsibilities include monitoring live sessions, remote and on-site support, incident management via Service Plus, and scheduling AV/VTC events on a DoD-backed campus.

The role requires 3+ years in AV/IT/VTC, DoD 8140 IAT II, and Security+ certification, with hands-on experience on TMS, CMS, VNC and multi-vendor endpoints.

Qualifications

• Education - AA or AS
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II Compliance or higher
• Security+ Certification
• Experience - 3+ years in AV operations, IT support, or VTC administration
• Technical Proficiency - hands-on with TMS, CMS, VNC Viewer, Service Plus, and multi-vendor endpoints

Responsibilities

• Monitor live VTC sessions and hardware; use Cisco TMS and CMS to preemptively identify AV issues
• Provide Tier I-III remote or in-person support for VTC issues
• Use Service Plus to track incidents and identify trends for improvements
• Schedule and manage local and remote AV/VTC events and room reservations
• Resolve scheduling conflicts for NGA conference rooms across networks
• Schedule JWICS VTCs for external agencies using JWICS system
• Perform hardware installations and firmware upgrades across vendor endpoints
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve complex issues
• Develop and maintain operational troubleshooting guides for staff
