Job summary

Connected Logistics in Richmond, VA seeks a VTC Lead to support the DLA VOC & COOP task order. The role involves leading shift operations, guiding VTC admins, and maintaining capability to perform all VTC admin functions while supporting junior engineering tasks.

The candidate will develop product and system requirements from inception to conclusion, and create specifications for simple to moderately complex technical problems. Must have TS/T5 or equivalent clearance and six years IT experience.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of progressive Information Technology experience, including at least two projects in the specified task areas, with two within the past three years.
• Must possess a DoD-approved cybersecurity certification such as CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) meeting IAT Level II requirements, and a comparable industry credential for telecommunications or network operations.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary operational escalation point for SBC/CUBE and E911 issues, overseeing Tier 1–2 troubleshooting, validation of actions, monitoring system health, and proper triage and escalation to Tier 3 engineering without making engineering changes.
• Participates in engineering-led maintenance, testing, and development activities as an operational representative, ensuring adherence to procedures and preventing unauthorized changes.
• Oversees shift-level reporting, consolidates SBC/CUBE and E911 metrics, supports audit sustainment and policy compliance, ensuring documentation quality.
• Provides on-shift training and mentorship, enforces SOP adherence, supports change management processes, and acts as the authoritative operational decision-maker for VTC services.
