Job summary

Defense In Depth Solutions seeks an AVTC Infrastructure Engineer to deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise AV/VTC infrastructure, ensuring high availability for virtual meetings and secure configurations.

You will work with codecs from Cisco/Polycom, SIP-based systems, and the Cisco TMS, while applying DISA STIGs and DoD 8570-compliant security practices. 3–5 years of hands-on VTC experience is preferred, with strong incident response and user support skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on VTC or systems administration experience.
• Deep understanding of Cisco/Polycom AV/VTC codecs and infrastructure, SIP, and Cisco TMS.
• DoD 8570 compliance such as Security+ or CCNA.

Responsibilities

• SystemManagement: Deploy, patch, and monitor enterprise VTC and VoIP systems, ensuring uptime.
• IncidentTroubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve connectivity, audio, and video issues to minimize downtime.
• User Support & White-Glove Service: Assist VIPs and leadership with conference setups and equipment orientation.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce IA policies via vulnerability scans and cybersecurity configurations (DISA STIGs).
• Infrastructure & Upgrades: Manage hardware lifecycles and maintain diagrams.

Job description

AVTC Infrastructure Engineerconfigures, maintains, and troubleshoots enterprise audio-visual and video streaming infrastructure. They ensure high availability for virtual meetings, apply security compliance patches, and provide Tier II/III technical support for hardware like codecs, multipoint control units (MCUs), and UC managers.

Core Responsibilities

• SystemManagement: Deploy, patch, and monitor enterprise VTC and VoIP systems, ensuring seamless performance and uptime.
• IncidentTroubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve connectivity, audio, and video issues, minimizing downtime for daily operations.
• User Support & White-Glove Service: Assist VIPs and leadership with conference setups, active meeting monitoring, and equipment orientation.
• Security& Compliance: Enforce organizational IA policies by performing vulnerability scans and applying cybersecurity compliance configurations (e.g., DISA STIGs). Risk Management Framework experience preferred.
• Infrastructure& Upgrades: Manage hardware lifecycles, recommend technology refreshes, and maintain updated network and capability diagrams.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on VTC or systems administration experience.
• TechnicalProficiency: Deep understanding of Cisco, Polycom, or similar AV/VTC codecs and infrastructure, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), and control tools like Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS).
