Job summary

Job Description

SNAP seeks a VTC / AV Technician to support video teleconferencing (VTC) and audiovisual (AV) services, including Haivision IPTV system equipment and service. Responsibilities include providing installation and maintenance support for VTC and AV equipment at locations such as Fort Eustis, VA.

The Technician will perform routine maintenance of video cameras, microphones, projectors, flat‑panel displays, touch screens, smart boards, speakers, amplifiers, and other VTC equipment. Proficiency is required with Creston touch panels, Tandberg codecs, Multipoint Controlling Units (MCU), and related audio/video equipment.

Technical Qualifications / Requirements

• Proficient in operation of Creston touch panels, Tandberg codecs, MCU and other audio/video equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees and external contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Education / Certifications

• Bachelor's degree (preferred) plus five (5) years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education, experience and certifications.
• IAT I Level Certification.
