Summary of the Role:
BEPC is seeking a highly motivated VPP Technology Analyst to join our client’s site in Plano, Texas. This role will support the Voluntary Protection Products (VPP) Department by managing system and project-related functions, providing production support, supporting operational initiatives, and driving efficiencies across VPP sales, management, and administration processes. The analyst will be responsible for ensuring day-to-day operational support for both the VPP Department and VPP Domain while collaborating with technology, business, and cross-functional teams.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational Management
- Act as the lead point of contact for day-to-day operations within the VPP Department and VPP Domain.
- Manage, track, and analyze cases from intake through resolution, ensuring timely follow-up and escalation.
- Partner with Application Management Support (AMS) on incident and problem management processes.
- Monitor operational workflows and identify process gaps, recommending improvements to increase efficiency and consistency.
- Analyze recurring field questions and issue trends to identify root causes and recommend process or training improvements.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and VPP contact for system enhancement projects, including StoneEagle Admin platform, Private Label, RouteOne, and SGI.
- Collaborate with technology, data, and business teams to ensure project requirements meet business needs.
- Assist with gathering, writing, and revising business user stories and system requirements.
- Manage Jira user stories, including writing, prioritization, and refinement.
- Configure product, plan, and pricing changes within the StoneEagle Admin system.
- Support VPP Product Operations and Product Development teams during requirements gathering and testing.
- Assist VPP Domain Product Owners with Jira backlog grooming and prioritization.
- Develop and execute test scenarios across multiple test environments.
- Manage the Secure Online Reporting (SOLR) invoice and billing process.
- Support weekly manual payment exception processing for downstream accounting systems.
- Provide support to the VPP Reinsurance Team with dealer wire transfers.
Process and System Improvements
- Provide operational expertise during development and enhancement of VPP-related system applications.
- Create and maintain VPP system process maps and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Utilize Kaizen and Toyota Business Practices (TBP) methodologies to develop and implement process improvements.
Training and Additional Responsibilities
- Create, revise, and communicate training materials related to VPP technology projects.
- Create, revise, and post FSBs as requested.
- Support special VPP projects as assigned..
Main Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree (BA or BS).
- Experience: 5–7+ years of relevant experience in technology operations, field support, operations management, or a similar industry.
- Working knowledge of technology products, operational processes, and workflows.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including: Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word.
- Proficiency with Jira or similar case/workflow management tools.
- Strong business system configuration skills and experience supporting operational system processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Agile Certification.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, initiative planning, and project launches.
