Goldman Sachs is seeking the Americas Head of Workplace Planning (VP) in New York City to lead workplace strategy, occupancy planning, and portfolio analytics across CSRE and OGS. This senior role partners with senior leaders to optimize space, cost, and employee experience.

The candidate will drive data-driven decisions, manage a team, and align governance with strategic objectives while coordinating with finance, real estate, security, and technology to deliver innovative workplace solutions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in workplace strategy or related field; proven executive advisory experience.
• Strong financial acumen; ability to develop business cases and communicate economic impacts.
• Excellent presentation, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with senior leaders across the firm to understand workplace challenges, business priorities, growth plans, and organizational needs.
• Advise clients on workplace solutions that balance employee experience, productivity, collaboration, compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Lead strategic workplace discussions, presenting options, tradeoffs, recommendations, and financial implications to executives and stakeholders.
• Facilitate decision-making on workplace investments, space allocations, portfolio optimization opportunities, and future workplace models.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on workplace trends, benchmarking, and emerging practices that can improve business outcomes.
• Lead and develop a team of workplace planning professionals responsible for occupancy planning, workplace strategy, and portfolio analytics.
