Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management seeks a Vice President in New York to join the Business Strategy & Finance team within the Client Solutions Group. You will partner with senior leadership to shape strategic initiatives, optimize performance, and drive growth across distribution.

The role focuses on designing compensation and incentive programs, delivering analytics on sales, budgeting, headcount, and reporting.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years of relevant experience in business strategy, finance, analytics or related fields.
• Experience in asset management, wealth management, or financial services preferred.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to senior audiences.
• Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and capable of balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that support business growth and commercial effectiveness.
• Design, enhance, and operationalize compensation and incentive programs aligning employee behavior with growth priorities.
• Deliver analytical insights related to sales performance, trends, productivity, and resource allocation.
• Support annual strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, headcount planning, and business management processes.
• Develop reporting, KPI frameworks, and management materials to inform key business decisions.
