Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Practice Management Vice President to drive growth, efficiency, and scalability across Private Wealth Management. The role partners with Private Wealth Advisors, Regional Heads, and business leadership to consult on business planning, organizational design, and operational excellence.

Lead regional recruiting efforts, cultivate candidate relationships, and shape the talent pipeline.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Wealth Management, Advisor Development, Business Management, Practice Management, Recruiting or related field.
• Strong understanding of advisor business development and wealth management models.
• Experience coaching or advising professionals on growth, productivity, and organizational effectiveness.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
• Experience with recruiting, talent acquisition, or business development strategy is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for facilitation and knowledge sharing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; translate insights into actions.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Partner with advisors to develop and refine business plans, growth strategies, and objectives.
• Share best practices and facilitate knowledge exchange to drive growth and productivity.
• Consult on team structure, capacity planning, and organizational effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and scalability.
• Develop and promote practice management tools, resources, and frameworks.
• Collaborate with Regional Heads to identify growth needs and opportunities.
• Build regional recruiting pipelines through market engagement and relationships.
• Maintain relationships with prospective advisor candidates for long-term recruiting.
• Support recruiting strategies, including market intelligence, pipeline tracking, and candidate engagement.
• Gather feedback to identify emerging needs and opportunities for enhancement.
• Partner with Talent Strategy, Recruiting, and leadership on growth and talent priorities.
