Job summary

Stout seeks a Senior Valuation Advisory professional to lead complex valuation analyses for private debt, equity, and illiquid assets in Detroit. You will manage a team, mentor junior staff, and deliver rigorous financial modeling and client-facing services.

You will drive due diligence, support strategy and reporting across funds and companies, and apply AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, financial engineering, mathematics, or another quantitative field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of business valuation experience with related assignments such as purchase price allocations and impairment testing.
• Strong knowledge of financial models and valuation methodologies.
• Professional designations such as CFA, ASA, CPA, or CEIV are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and prepare valuation reports and presentations.
• Develop client interaction and participate in due diligence meetings.
• Provide valuation services for management planning and strategy.
• Conduct and oversee company, industry, and economic research.
• Analyze economic conditions and industry trends.
• Participate in hiring and training of interns, analysts, and associates.
• Deliver valuation services for financial, tax, and regulatory needs for funds and companies.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance research and efficiency.
