Schreiber Foods in Green Bay, WI seeks a Vice President of US Research and Development to shape strategy and lead R&D teams, directing product and process optimization, ingredient work, and emerging technologies to grow shareholder value.

The role oversees partnerships, industry collaboration, and compliance with Food Safety and Quality Plans, plus relocation benefits, ESOP, a 8% 401(k) match and extensive benefits for eligible partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food/Dairy Science or related field.
• 15+ years in Research & Innovation.
• 5+ years in research management.
• Project management, problem solving, decision making, and process excellence.
• Knowledge of patent and regulatory affairs; interact with external agencies.
• Up to 25% travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Direct strategy and roadmaps for US R&D programs including product development, ingredient, process and emerging technology research.
• Serve as senior leader representing R&D with commercial, customers, supply chain and operations.
• Oversee product project management by prioritizing commitments and generating new ideas.
• Oversee research with internal and external stakeholders, protecting trade secrets and strategies.
• Own partner development activities, talent identification, and promotions.
• Engage with industry associations and universities to maintain Schreiber’s competitive edge.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans and audit corrective actions.
