Job summary

Schreiber Foods, Inc. is seeking a Senior/Principal Scientist for its Green Bay, WI corporate office. The role focuses on developing new products and processes, improving quality and cost, and supporting contract manufacturing.

You will work across R&D, operations, marketing, and customers, with travel up to 25%. You'll contribute to scale‑up, manage experimental design, and help establish specifications and SOPs while leveraging dairy science expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food/dairy science or related field.
• 1-3 years' experience in research and/or product development.
• Cultured dairy products manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and dairy component understanding.
• Desire to grow and take on new challenges and opportunities.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Work in production and pilot plant locations.
• Develop defined work plans, conduct experiments, and write reports.
• Develop a basic understanding of the R&D product development SOP.
• Apply basic quality tools and explore new project work.
• Exercise excellent listening and communication skills, such as conveying technical concepts to others, writing detailed technical reports, and presenting to inform decisions.
